A high impact, fun programme for touch typing with children. The programme teaches keyboard skills and builds muscle memory in a multi-sensory accelerated learning format using a storyboard and visual tools to reinforce and review learning. Keyboard skills are essential to access the power of ICT. Confusion with the keyboard layout and clumsiness with the actual typing process results in many individuals being unable to access the benefits of the PC and being online. Processing of thinking and information is slowed down by inefficient keyboard technique and of course this is particularly problematic with children who process slowly. The Ten2Type programme enables children to develop confidence and competence quickly in a fun, high-impact way. It has been designed to incorporate best practice in learning and motivation.
